Mary-Lauren Shelton Vise, RDN, LD, CEDS-C is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian, Certified Eating Disorders Specialist Consultant (CEDS-C), and the Owner and Founder of Nutrition DiscoveRD®.

She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating with experience across all levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential, and inpatient settings. Her primary areas of expertise include eating disorders in athletes and performing artists, Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), sports nutrition, and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)/Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS).

Mary-Lauren is passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship with food while supporting performance, health, and overall well-being. She has extensive experience working with a range of athletes, dancers, endurance athletes, equestrians, and other performing artists, navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and underfueling.

In addition to nutrition counseling, Mary-Lauren serves as a dietetic internship preceptor and provides education, presentations, trainings, and consulting services for healthcare professionals, athletic programs, universities, schools, and community organizations. She previously served as Team Dietitian for SMU Spirit, providing nutrition support and education to collegiate athletes.

Mary-Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky, where she completed the Coordinated Dietetics Program. She is actively involved in iaedp (International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals), IFEDD (International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians), and ASPDA (American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association).
